Empowering Women: An International Women’s Day Celebration with Rachael Lewis

As a female entrepreneur, advocate for personalized nutrition, and mom, I’ve seen the impact of quality nutrition firsthand. A Perfect Fit was born from my passion to help others live healthier lives, with services that make eating well effortless and enjoyable. On International Women’s Day, I’m proud to share my story and how A Perfect Fit empowers others to feel strong, confident, and nourished.

The Beginning of a Passion

Growing up, my mom was my superhero. A military spouse, Air Force officer, and business owner, she still found time to prepare healthy meals for us. She instilled in me a love for healthy living, which I carried through college and beyond.

After earning a degree in Health and Kinesiology from Texas A&M University, I worked in sports performance and became a personal chef for clients. As my business grew, I lived in a client’s guest house in exchange for meal prep, and an attorney client helped me set up my LLC in exchange for training sessions.

Starting A Perfect Fit

A Perfect Fit started in 2015 as a side hobby, but in 2019, I committed fully to the business and hired my first chef. Since then, we've helped over 200 families and expanded to Dallas and Nashville in 2024.

What sets us apart is our passion for helping others live optimally. We’re not just making meals—we’re providing nourishment, fighting disease, and empowering the next generation to build lifelong health.

The Mission

On this International Women’s Day, I encourage all entrepreneurs to never give up on the passion God has placed on your heart. What separates successful business owners from others isn’t age, income, or degrees, but the drive to keep going. 90% of startups fail within 10 years, but success comes from resilience, belief in your mission, and perseverance through challenges. So, to every woman with a dream—keep moving forward. Your vision is worth fighting for, and the world needs what you have to offer.
